What is a Sworn Translator in Argentina?

There are no translations available.

fter graduation, Sworn Translators apply to the Colegio de Traductores Públicos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (Association of Sworn Translators of the city of Buenos Aires) for a license, which enables them to do official translations. An official translation is a translation signed and sealed by a Sworn Translator, and has the same legal force and effect as the original document.

Whenever a foreign document has to be filed with a governmental agency in Argentina, it is necessary to have it translated into Spanish by a Sworn Translator.
